Digitizing the photographs

There is a wealth of pictures - drawings, paintings and not least photographs - connected to the archaeological excavations at Jelling, and also to the monuments’ role as a destination for visits and national monument.

These pictures deserve to be familiar to many more people than they are at present. To start with, during 2009 the National Museum’s own pictures will be digitized for use in the Jelling Project. Later on other pictures can be added to this, so that all those who are interested can explore the many aspects of the story of the Jelling Monuments, both past and present.
